Since its incorporation in 1717 as the 100th town in
Massachusetts, Westborough has grown from a settlement of orchards
and dairies into a dynamic community with a healthy mix of
residences, wooded trails, and industry.
Once a quaint rural manufacturing town,

At the intersection of the Mass Pike, Route 495 and Route 9,
Westborough is an ideal location for business headquarters. Spurred
by the advent of the train in 1834, Westborough has been home to

boots in the past to computer and telecommunications equipment
today. Westborough has also emerged as an important regional center

Westborough's population of a little more than 18,000 residents

active recreation programs on its lakes, woodlands, and playing
fields. Westborough has managed to grow with the times, yet retain it’s

Four Elementary
Schools: two for grades K-6, One Middles School for grades
7-8. One Senior High School for grades 9-12. The school
system offers extensive music and athletic programs, adult
evening courses, and team teaching. Advanced placement
courses available. Assabet Valley Regional Technical High

Westborough Medical
Clinic and the Fallon Medical Center in Westborough;

the major commuting routes (9, Masspike, rte 495)

Westborough is 32 miles
west of Boston and 13 miles east of Worcester; driving time
to Boston is 45 minutes; driving time to Worcester is 20
minutes.
