Clinton was historically a factory town that has now retained some classic 19^th century and Victorian architecture.  It is still home to the world headquarters of NYPRO, the leading plastic injection molding firm. Clinton has evolved into a beautiful rural New England town, which is surrounded by the Wachusett Reservoir.  The real estate in community is a blend of older homes, condominiums and new construction.

Clinton has a very active recreational department that includes swimming, softball, ice/roller skating, soccer, and arts and crafts.  There are two golf courses (1 public and 1 private), athletic fields, tennis courts, 2 beaches and a public swimming pool.  The town also has an active night softball league and an American Legion baseball team.
